The Begining The Early Years I had to wear a pink medical helmet to protect my head because I had myclonic seisures. This is a picture with Chole from EPU who taught me sign language because I was unable to speak for a long time. My sister Ashley went to EPU in the sibling program to help her deal with what we thought at the time was just my medical journey. As it turned out my sister, brother and mom have Mitochondrial disease also. Newspaper

This event should be our biggest ever and we should have over a 100 teams. UMDF Shout OutThe UMDF!The UMDF is where the mitochondrial disease is being researched. They have many roles like getting the awareness out, information, support chapters, ect. Fund Rasiers that we do here are sent to UMDF and all money raised goes directly to research. We are here to find a cure and that's what we are fighting for.
